Your walking tour of Charlottetown starts on the city’s waterfront at Confederation Landing. From here, the tour will progress up Great George St. which is known for the evolution of architecture displayed here with its beautifully preserved Georgian architecture on one side of the street and Gothic Revival architecture on the other side. Continuing onward, guests will stroll the grounds of Province House – also known as the birthplace of Confederation before heading over to Victoria Row. Guests will continue onward to view the Confederation Centre of the Arts where the world famous Anne of Green Gables play has been running for over 50 years! The government buildings are a stunning example of brutalist architecture. Here you will visit the Beaconsfield Historic House and the Government House of Prince Edward Island. After this, the tour will start to head back toward the starting point by following the Victoria Boardwalk.

Our day starts with a visit to Paarl where you will be struck by the beauty of the Valley, the pristine blue sky, the rolling vineyards, and the Pearl of Paarl set high above the valley. Paarl made headlines when President Mandela was released from the Groot Drakenstein prison (formerly known as Victor Verster prison). We enjoy a wine tasting at one of the local estates. From Paarl, we'll continue north-west to the beautiful village of Franschhoek, founded in 1688 by French immigrants fleeing the Huguenot religious persecution in Europe. A memorial in the town commemorates the arrival of these early settlers who helped develop the wines sought after by Napoleon, Bismarck, and royalty such as Edward VII, the Prince of Wales. Here we will stop for lunch and another wine tasting at a local vineyard. We'll then head to Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa and enjoy a final wine tasting before returning to Cape Town.

Prince Edward Island’s westernmost tip is home to traditional fishing villages, nestled alongside innovative wind farms. On this circular driving tour through Tignish and North Cape’s spectacular natural scenery, you’ll learn about the area’s unique blend of history, nature, and maritime charm. This driving tour covers approximately 54 kilometers of Prince Edward Island’s most dramatic coastline.

In Prince Edward county, festivals are held year-round. This year, the famous Lavender Festival is cancelled, but we will visit magnificent lavender fields and you will marvel at many cultivars of lavender with a miriad of colours, scents and tastes. ​ During our one-day trip, we will taste wine at local wineries and try different varieties of cheese produced here. We will visit several art galleries and a sculpture garden. We will see the famous Lake on the Mountain (the Mohawk people call it Onokenoga, or Lake of the Gods) and the equally famous dunes, drive along the historic loyalist road and visit the picturesque towns of Bloomfield, Wellington and Picton.
