We are the Surf Coach at Flower Power Surf School, and Certified Surf Instructors by the Portuguese Surfing Federation with licenses to give classes from the local authorities. OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT SURFING EXPERIENCE, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills.

"My name is João, I'm a local surfer from Porto with 30 years experience surfing. I'm a traveled surfer, former international competitor, currently running "Surf Coaching Porto". I'm a Certified Surf Coach, by the Portuguese Surfing Federation, teaching since 1998, and I WILL BE YOUR COACH, NO ONE ELSE! Been training local surfers and teaching foreigners how to start and improve their surf skills. Also I'm a Surf Guide partnering with the World Surf League, providing training camps (surfcamps) in Porto and organize surftrips worldwide. Besides that, I surf every day ;)”

We are a small and passionate surf school. We offer surf lessons in small groups on the beautiful beach of Azurara 20km from Porto. Enjoy authentic Portuguese surroundings away from the hustle and crowded beaches of the city. Azurara is a wide and empty beach with many opportunities to have your own surfing spot. Here you focus purely on your lesson. Enjoy this athmosphere with authentic and professional surf trainers. Our services include a pick up service from Porto as well as a surfing board, a wetsuit and an insurance.

Lufi Surf School is an accredited school, recognized and registered with the Portuguese Surfing Federation, Instituto Português do Desporto, Turismo de Portugal with registration no. 363/2011 and a member of the Association of Surf Schools of Portugal. With more than 10 years of experience in teaching surfing and a team of specialized, accredited professionals who use appropriate methods and materials, we ensure the quality of classes and safety in all activities carried out. Unlike other surf schools, our classes are divided into groups of maximum five students per coach, thus ensuring optimal safety and learning conditions.

Our school, Onda Pura, was established in 1994 and is one of the first surf schools to be implemented in Portugal. We are located in Praia de Matosinhos, considered one of the best beaches in the country with perfect conditions for surfing. Our partnerships like Deeply and WSL (World Surf League) guarantee our veracity. At Onda Pura we have the right space, all the material necessary to practice surfing and an excellent team of professionals trained and certified by the FPS (Portuguese Surfing Federation). We are a school duly certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and dedicated to teaching surfing and bodyboarding on the beaches of Maçãs and Praia Grande, in the emblematic area of Sintra. Classes take place between these beaches and Carcavelos beach, depending on sea conditions. We provide several programs that suit the different levels and ages in question, always in an environment of fun, enthusiasm and security so that they can get the most out of the experience and contact with the sea.

Held at Barra da Tijuca Beach, an amazing and beautiful place in West Zone of Rio. This beach offers ideal conditions for beginners or experienced. We provide all equipment for the practice of Surf. The instructor will guide you through the different types of equipment, basic paddling, steering techniques, and optimal posture and positioning. It is an excellent fitness option, strengthening arms, legs, abdomen, as well as improving balance and concentration.

Neptunos Surf school is a school that works with small groups of up to 8 people in order to offer the best quality and safety, as well as a close relationship to help achieve good results. The coach has 31 years of surfing experience and great local knowledge, as well as certified courses. The school is registered with Portuguese tourism as well as the Portuguese Surfing Federation and legalized in the Port Authority of Lagos

This experience is magical… It starts with a boat trip to one of the most beautiful areas of the Ria Formosa – Barrinha, as it is known among the locals, where the surf lesson will take place. After finishing the first activity, we will travel to another captivating area of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, where the stand up paddle (SUP) lesson will take place.! This experience is aimed at all levels of performance, whether for surfing or SUP. This activity has the duration of approximately 4 hours. All equipment is included (surfboard, suit, Lycra, SUP board, paddle and vest), boat trip, as well as sports insurance.
