Pier Head

We will be hiking up Lions Head, Cape Town's most Instragram'able hike. We plan to either catch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean or sunrise from the Hottentots Holland mountains. We enjoy some amazing photo opportunities before our descent. During a sunset hike, we descend in the dark using our flashlights (provided). During a sunrise hike, we may hike the first part in the dark using our flashlights (provided). While the hike is regarded as easier than Table Mountain, it still involves steep rocky and narrow terrain at certain points from about half up way and a section where the use of steel handles and chains need to be used to get up 2 pitches of about 3 meters each (only up and not down). Quite adventurous indeed. This hike has been an age old tradition for locals especially during the full moon and on clear/windless nights/mornings where the lights of the city below dazzle and the moon and stars show off its beauty in the night sky.

Blast along the River Thames on this 20 minute TOWER RIB BLAST round-trip speedboat cruise from Tower Millennium Pier. Once suited up, sit back and take in the view as you head along the river past the Tower of London and under Tower Bridge. Then its throttle time! Feel the FULL throttle of the RIB's (rigid inflatable boat) 740hp twin turbo engines as you roar along the River Thames towards Canary Wharf & back to Tower in the same fashion… It's a 20 minute BLAST! Hop aboard the ferry for a trip from San Francisco to Sausalito. Your ticket allows you to skip the box office line and head straight to the gate. We will embark on an 8 mile loop of the Clearwater Beach & Boardwalk area. We will go over the Causeway Bridge, go to the old fishing pier and what is considered "Old Clearwater," possibly see some dolphins and take in the panoramic views of CWB then head back to our starting point as we cross Pier 60.

We depart just before sunset to enjoy the beautiful low country sky as the sun fades away. We will set up in Broad Creek to watch the firework show. Along the way you will see some beautiful homes, wildlife, and dolphin if you’re lucky! The firework cruise is available every Tuesday evening in the summer months. This trip sells out quick so make sure you sign up in advance.

This is a kayaking tour with a difference. This trip takes you from Lanta to the beautiful islands. The tour starts with a pick up from your hotel at 8 am or 13pm. You will be transferred to Tungyeepeng Pier (on Lanta’s northeast coast) where we board the longtail boat and head to Ko Aung. Enjoy floating by kayak into the Mangrove Forest of Tungyeepeng. This is a beautiful spot for exploration, monkey feeding, unique lizard and colourful bird watching.  We then continue to Koh Aung Island to explore Koh Talabeng sea cave by kayak, after which, we end our exploration and head back toward Tungyeepeng Pier.

You will then continue steeply upwards to the first ladder, before traversing along a shelf with a chain handrail. Next, you will reach a fork, where you will have the choices to either veer left to circumnavigate two rock pitches or to turn right and climb the rock pitches. If you are not into vertical rock steps continue left, past some huge pine trees to gain the crest of the southeast ridge. At the summit of Lion's Head one has a 360 degree view it is one of the three iconic peaks that frame the city of Cape Town. It has Table Mountain as its backdrop and it is situated in the smallest and richest floral kingdoms in the world. Then little by little, the city lights will turn on or off offering a new sight.
