This is a Peruvian cooking class where you will learn how to cook two delicacies that all Peruvians love: Ceviche and Pisco Sour! This is a guided tour in which you will taste excellent piscos and wines from the city of Ica, one of the richest valleys in the production of wine and pisquera grapes, accompanied by its Peruvian history, culture and tradition. You will get to know incredible scenarios on this excursion, with a view of the vineyards and valleys.

The experience is made in our home where we exhibit many pieces of Peruvian art and that help us tell our stories. We are producers of pisco, we have our own factory in the province of Ica! Therefore, you can try many varieties and make your own pisco sour with the flavor of your choice and that you will surely not find in any restaurant in the city! We are constantly traveling throughout Peru and Jose Antonio is a Professional Chef, so we will give you unique tips of restaurants, local places and secret sites so you can customize and improve your trip within our country. On this tour, we will start from the Plaza de Armas, where we will visit various must-see spots on your visit to Peru. Peruvian cuisine is world-renowned for its tasty dishes such as: Anticuchos, Mazamorra, Picarones, Pollo a la brasa, Causa rellena, among others. These are some of the many culinary dishes in the country, showing you their preparation, history and tasting the seasoning of each cook or as we Peruvians call it "la señito". In Peru there are several (secret places), where you can eat delicious and cheap food, each dish will dazzle your palate; I assure you that you will enjoy and savor each typical Peruvian dish. The only requirement we ask is that you really like to eat and learn a little about Peruvian cuisine; and most importantly, we have to have fun together. We will finish the tour with pisco sour classes where we will taste different flavors of pisco, such as: lemon pisco, passion fruit, mango, pineapple, among others.

Experience two of Lima's top attractions on this evening tour. With your guide, first visit the Larco Museum (Museo Larco) to learn about pre-Columbian culture and see ancient artifacts like ceramics and pots, and then be wowed at the Magic Water Circuit (El Circuito Mágico del Agua), a spectacular water and light show in Lima’s Parque de la Reserva (Park of the Reserve). Between stops, visit a local old tavern of Pisco for a snack and a pisco sour (included).

Then we will go up to the dunes to finish the day watching the sunset in the middle of the Huacachina sand desert for 2 hours. You'll do normal sandboarding on different dunes. You'll learn about Cusco's history, traditional shopping places and also classic and modern cooking techniques of peruvian flavor taught by a professional chef. We will be, also, offering a Peruvian wine/ pisco taste in which you’ll be able to savor different flavors and identify the aromas of these wonderful cocktails. We will enjoy and learn about a wide variety of potatoes and different kinds of root vegetables grown in this very Peruvian ground. Those ingredients, later on, will be employed in the preparation of the dishes adding a diversity in color, texture and form. These unique culinary experience is available for everyone. This tour will take you to a local market and then out in the town of Cusco at night. We will meet up at your hotel and take you first for a tour of a local non-touristic market and then for a Pisco sour, the most typical cocktail of Peru. Then we will be transported to the Cusco Planetarium, located 15 minutes above the city. Here we will hear about how the Incas viewed the constellations and then we will get to go outside to look through the telescopes and stargaze. After the planetarium, we will return to Cusco and go out to a restaurant frequented by locals for the most popular dish of Peru: Pollo a la brasa, or blackened rotisserie chicken, which is eaten with salad and french fries and will have the most typical drink of Peru, Inca kola. We will finish the tour by walking around the Plaza de Armas (the main square) which is lit up beautifully at night and look at the statue of the emperor Pachacutec and learn about the history of the Incas in Cusco.  NOTICE: -Bring warm clothes.
