Our trip crosses right through the Etna Regional Park to reach 2000m altitude on the highest active volcano in Europe, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013. Our tour leader will explain all the natural features and history of Etna. The journey includes visits in safe conditions to panoramic craters, no longer active and a cave if good visibility and wearing solid hiking shoes.
