Throughout the entire tour the views are simply breathtaking. A profusion of unique plants make this place their natural habitat. In springtime these plants proudly dress themselves in a myriad of colours, displaying their fragile flowers for all to see. Near Pico Ruivo we walk through the oldest heather forest. These ancient trees are many hundreds of years old and were already there when Zarco discovered and landed on the island for the first time. Pico Ruivo (the highest point on the island) is only a footstep away – be delighted and amazed with the magnificent views over the island. Bolafjall Sky Walk and Syðridalur Lignite Mine. This tour offers a mix of natural beauty, history and a touch of adventure. You'll experience Bolafjall sky walk, enjoy the views of steep cliffs and endless North Atlantic Ocean with Hornstrandir Nature Reserve in the far distance. Also, you will have a chance to learn about a key piece of NATO's monitoring infrastructure located on the mountain. After walking into the sky, we will head for a short hike to explore the old and abandoned lignite mine in Syðridalur. This tour is perfect for those who appreciate dramatic landscapes and historical curiosities. Syðridalur in Bolungarvík is known for an old lignite mine which is situated in the valley. Lignite was mined from the mine in the years of 1917 until 1921 or while and after the first World War. To get into the mine you almost have to crawl, but once you're in the ceiling gets higher and you can stand upright. Scenic walk up to the mine takes around 20-25 minutes on a marked trail.

Pick up in the morning and 50min. roar to Rui Vaz village for hiking. Located in the middle of the island, hiking to Pico da Antonia can be challenging but worth it when you get on top. with a magnificent view, it offers you an exceptional panorama on the island, Pico de Antonia is the highest point on Santiago Island with 1394 meters of altitude. There you feel like you're at the end of the world touching the sky. From there, it is possible to see the whole island, and in a clear day you can see Fogo and Maio island.

Our 18-day Mera Peak Climbing shall commence from Lukla, which is a short 30 min wonderful flight from Kathmandu. The trekking route shall follow a direct path to Mera Peak. In July 2024, a massive wildfire ripped through Jasper National Park, ravaging over 33,000 hectares of land. Peak Wilderness sanctuary is a tropical rain forest that spreads over a land of 224 square kilometers around the Sri Paada (Adam's Peak) mountain & is the third largest of the 50 sanctuaries in the country. Your route will be via Hatton (Hatton – Nallathanniya) and to climb down via Murray estate, which borders the peak wilderness sanctuary. It is one of the best hideouts in Sri Lanka which surrounds evergreen forests on the edge of the reserve. waking up in the middle of the night to trek is worthwhile and the sunrise is nothing short of spectacular.
