Take a guided tour through the most picturesque locations in Colorado Springs. You will head south to the Garden of the Gods, we will stop for lunch at the beautiful town of Manitou Springs. After that, we will climb 14115 feet to Pikes Peak Summit. Then you will take a scenic drive back into Denver.

The Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak are two of the most famous attractions in Colorado, and we’ve packed them into a single tour. You get to explore the giant red rock formations in this National Natural Landmark during your picnic lunch before you ride the Cog Railway to the highest summit in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at 14,115 feet. Be prepared for communal, conversational seating (meaning opposing rows face each other, typical of train travel). For taller guests, that means you may be knocking knees a bit. To ride comfortably, we recommend that you strategically sit across from a short person. You're certainly not required to chat with the people across from you, even if you came together. But who knows! You might make a friend and have some laughs or a fun "small world" moment. We love those!

This is as good as it gets! This walk will give you a more complete picture of the real beauty of this island. Rock formations seem to want to reach heaven like giant sculptures. Throughout the entire tour the views are simply breathtaking. A profusion of unique plants make this place their natural habitat. In springtime these plants proudly dress themselves in a myriad of colours, displaying their fragile flowers for all to see. Near Pico Ruivo we walk through the oldest heather forest. These ancient trees are many hundreds of years old and were already there when Zarco discovered and landed on the island for the first time. Pico Ruivo (the highest point on the island) is only a footstep away – be delighted and amazed with the magnificent views over the island. My tours are all private and clients have the ability to customize the tour. In addition I have my commercial insurance and am certified by the state of Colorado. Next a walk and drive through Garden of the Gods where you will see many different colorful collections of sandstone rock formations.  There are many unique formations and many of the them have names such as the  Kissing Camels and the Cathedral Spires because the formations resemble such objects.   Continuing on, we will stop in the charming town of Manitou Springs for a quick bite to eat and a few minutes of window shopping. Futhermore, you may sample water from the natural outdoor delicious water fountains. From Maitou Springs we will drive up Pikes Peak Mountain to an elevation of 14,105 feet where we gaze over the mountain ranges and see why Katherine Lee Bates wrote the lyrics to America the Beautiful as she took in the sights from the summit of this gorgeous mountain. After a great day we head back to Demver.
