This is a super fun afternoon and night activity that's a little different than anything offered on the islands. We will start will a fantastic spot to watch the sunset. We have a few places to choose from. You might not always get the sun dipping into the ocean, But the location will be unique. After the sun sets, we will head to a very dark location where we can start having some fun. Your guide will show you how to light paint. If you have no idea what this is, even better. You will be able to create art at night with our tools. We recommend bringing a camera that can adjust the settings for long exposures. If you don't, your guide will take some photos with their cameras and email a link after the tour. Understand that this is a different type of tour you are taking and is more about having fun and learning something new. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

The papier-mâché was imported from China during the Heian period (794-1185), which consists generally in a wooden frame covered with paper. You will be able to create your original souvenir painting the base papier-mâché plain body with any colors you want. You can choose one plain body you prefer between Daruma or Manekineko. There are no specific rules for this experience, just free your imagination and have fun! Don't worry, if you don't know how to start it, the staff will support you too! You can also choose experiences other than Suiboku-ga (ink painting), so please choose what you want to do beforehand. We will ask you by e-mail. In case of Suiboku-ga While explaining the tools, we will draw a basic Suiboku-ga bamboo. You will also learn how to look at Suiboku-ga. In the case of watercolor painting The instructor will choose a photo of a Japanese landscape (Mt. Fuji) as the subject for a landscape painting. The instructor will teach you how to paint your own favorite scenery. For ballpoint pen drawings Participants will be asked to draw a landscape drawing using a photo of a Japanese landscape chosen by the instructor as the subject. You will learn shortcuts for rough finishing. In the case of colored pencil drawings The instructor will teach you how to draw realistically using colored pencils. This is done on postcard size paper.
