Lake Arenal is the largest hydroelectric dam in Costa Rica, it contains a great variety of flora and fauna that surrounds it, and in addition to having the best view of the Arenal Volcano with a large number of stories beneath its waters since there are ancient towns under its waters…And with a 100% local guide who will answer all your questions. With luck we will be able to see monkeys, herons, fishing birds, otters, parrots and other species that can be seen. After paddling for a while we will share a little about the history of the eruption of the Arenal Volcano and how the lake filled. We will have a small snack and on the way back we will swim a little on an island near the pier.

At about 11.30am you'll be moved to a new spot just off the island to do some underwater sightseeing in the crystal clear waters off the back to the speedboat. Enjoy a light lunch overlooking the water from restaurant. (plus drinking water and fresh fruits). Spend the afternoon at your leisure on the beach before boarding the speedboat at 5.00pm. Back at Chalong Pier by 5.20pm you'll be transferred to your hotel.
