One of the very exciting activities to do is explore the dunes in these vehicles called buggies. The wide desert landscape that we will appreciate will be impressive and full of emotion, dare to dominate the slopes of the vast desert dunes and feel the adrenaline flow through your body.

There is no better way to enjoy your visit to the island than being in charge of your own time and not being crammed into a vehicle with others and on a driver's timeline or having a guide rushing you. With Island Buggy Excursions, we will give you our suggested sites to visit on either the west end or east end of the island. Or we can customize your excursion based on sites you're interested in. The tour starts from our base at Lambhagavegur 13 in Reykjavík. After a short briefing where your guide will take you through safety procedures, we dress up in a snow/whole suit and helmet and hop onto our buggy ride. This two-hour buggy tour is a unique way to enjoy Icelandic nature and covers some waterfalls and gravel road driving. A stunning natural playground for the next few hours, as your test out your buggy surrounded by amazing scenery that only Iceland can offer. These 4 seaters, 4×4 buggies are fully automatic, fully inspected and road legal. They are also bursting with excellent safety and design features, such as the roll cage, safety belts, and double A-arm front suspension. All of which makes for a buggy ride that’s as safe as it is comfortableShared ride is when two people share one buggy vehicle. Each buggy can take 1-2 up to 4 people at a time. if you book "shared rides" you can be 2, 3 or 4 people in one buggy. Single ride is only the driver in one buggy vehicle.

Our buggies have a capacity of up to 4 passengers, ideal to take a day off with your family on the most fun way possible. We will make sure to bring you comfort and safety during your trip. While on route, take a break and enjoy the waters of the amazing Anamuya river. Continue your tour with a visit to the coconut house or “Casa del Coco” to learn how coconut oil is produced. Then visit our Ziplines ranch, the tour consists of 12 lines spread between 18 platforms. You will need from one hour to one hour and 30 minutes to complete the course but don’t worry, the first cables aren’t very long or fast to build your confidence. When you get to the cable 6, you can reach a speed of 55 km per hour. Cable number 9 is our highest one and cable 11 is the only side by side cable in the country with 800 meters.

After an explanation from your guide, begin your tour with a slingshot or buggy (depending with which you will start) along the coast of Calvia, passing by the points of greatest interest to reach your first stop in front of the beautiful Island of Malgratz. Here we make a 10-minute stop to take some beautiful pictures of the island. From here we head towards Es Grau in Estellencs, where we will make our main stop to enjoy a beautiful and impressive view of the sunset. Here we will change the vehicles and continue our way in the beautiful colors of the golden hours. We drive towards Port Andratx, an exclusive and beautiful area in the southwest of the island. From there you return to the office, passing the mountains with beautiful views of the Camp de Mar golf courses. On this tour we will make between 2 and 3 stops, depending on time and traffic.
