The excursion follows the Arno along the city, passing under the four main historical bridges of the Florence city center. The river is very quiet and is therefore ideal for those who want to take photographs and admire Florence's beautiful architecture from a unique perspective. We will explore the unknown part of Gjirokaster, the magic of the town that every tourist skips. We start from “Cerciz Topulli Square” and head towards The “Old Bazaar”. It is the first neighborhood outside the castle and lies along beneath the its walls. The characteristic cobblestone the orthodox church and some of the oldest houses are the most beautiful elements. After passing the stream of Nanxa (where they are building a new street), we reach the neighborhood of “Cfaka”. Here we will pass by some first monument category houses, a rebuild mosque and then reach the last neighborhood “Dunavat” where we will find a tekke of the Bektashi Order. It is a beautiful combination of Nature and old houses before arriving to “Ali Pasha Bridge”, a remaining of the aqueduct build more than 200 years ago to bring water to the castle. It takes approximately 3 hrs and you should be prepared to walk on a not so comfortable terrain. So put on your sneakers and join us to this back in time trip.

During the 19th century the region of Bilbao experiences a huge industralisation development that led to two very different social classes: working class and bankers. Each one laid on river Ibaizabal's West and East banks, and both areas developed their own way. This tour will take you to learn about the Bizkaia bridge, built in late 19th century as a representation of the iron industry in the area, and the link of both river banks. On the left side there lies the medieval village of Portugalete, with steep and narrow streets and Camino de Santiago routes. Enjoy this half day tour along PEI’s south shore. Departing from the Charlottetown waterfront, you will see old Charlottetown and hear about its important role in the founding of Canada. From the city, we head west into communities of the farmlands and tidy rural homes on our way to Victoria-by-the-Sea. This quaint artisan village holds many treasures, from a pretty range lighthouse to craft shops, the wharf, cafes and a chocolate shop. Leaving Victoria, you will see more of PEI’s red sandstone shore and the Confederation Bridge comes into view. This record-setting structure is an engineering marvel. We stop at the foot of the bridge for an up-close look, and another lighthouse. One more drive on scenic road to the Seacow Head Lighthouse where you can climb to the top for another view or stop in to their cafe for a beverage. The final leg of this tour is in Charlottetown, through pretty neighbourhoods and we leave you with a Cows' Ice Cream coupon to enjoy at your leisure.

Want to explore as if you were a local? Embark with me through the rainforests of Vancouver's North Shore where we will explore the areas best kept secret. A local suspension bridge overlooking a large waterfall, away from the crowds found at Capilano but with all the same scenery. The trail begins on the bridge overhanging a 100-foot canyon system with a jaw-dropping waterfall. We will then explore the hidden wonders of the local temperate rainforest where I can answer all your curiosities about the local ecosystem, plants, and animals. We can search for hidden old-growth trees that can live up to 2000 years old and identify native birds jumping between branches. There is a second waterfall to explore and even a relaxed swimming hole for those brave enough to embrace the glacial runoff waters. Finish the tour at the coffee shop to warm up before your private ride back to your accommodation.
