It is the cheapest slum tour and high quality life changing experience for those who have never been in the slums because we want a lot of people to understand our way of life in the slum. We have provision for edutainment where we have traditional dances from the school. The pick-up point will be flexible for both parties. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the innermost part of the slum and the households of the real slum. The visitor will see the mixture of different cultures staying together as one in the slum. Most importantly, we are not highlighting poverty but the resilience of the human spirit in adversity by supporting a school called Agape hope for kibera.

Kibera is the largest urban slum in Africa and the second largest in the world. The aim of the experience is to enable guests to learn the local community's daily life experiences. The income we generate from the booking helps a local school, Hope and Shine Kibera Centre, which hosts over 40 children. Tour highlights include: 1. Meeting at Greenhouse mall We meet and welcome all our guests at the Greenhouse mall, Ngong road. Here we brief all visitors on tour plan and expectations. 2. Toi market Toi market is the second largest open air market in Nairobi. See the different sections of the market and interact with traders. 3. Crafts Centre See how domestic animal bones are recycled to make jewelry with a mixture of brass. 4. Power women shop Meet women who educate the young girls on HIV/AIDS 5. Home visit. We are a team of 4 local guides. We are experienced and professional. We were all born, raised and still live here in Kibera (the largest slum in Africa). We have first-hand insights into the authentic daily life here in Kibera, our community. We run a social impact tour business called OAC Kenya Tours. It is a vehicle for positive change. A significant portion of our revenues go back to the community. 50% of the booking fees from this tour helps in paying school fees for needy kids here in our community.
