My Son – Hoi An Private Tour


– Depart from your hotel to My Son sanctuary which was once the Religious capital of the Champa Kingdom during the 4th to 13th centuries CE -Enjoy the traditional Apsara dance of the Champ ladies -Drive to Hoi An for lunch at a restaurant and take a walk around the ancient town, visit the 400 years old Japanese cover bridge, the Chinese assembly Hall, visit the night market located alongside the beautiful Hoai river, enjoy the city view when all the Lantern in town turned on. – Return to your hotel


My Son Sunset Tour With Boat Trip


Tour program: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In the afternoon at 1:00 pm, our guide and driver will pick you up at hotel lobby from Hoi An (optional: Da Nang) and leaving Hoi An for My Son holy land around 2:00 pm. You’ll walk around with our guide to see the historic and culture ruins of the 13th century, and be brought back to the glorious time of the Champa civilization.During your visit to My Son, the Guide will show you the remains of special brick tower, explain the origin and historical significance of the site including the meanings of each tower or monument. We also enjoy the traditional Cham dance . They show local costumes and song with traditional instrumental accompaniment. At 5:00 pm leaving My Son by minibus to riverside and take private boat to Hoi An. we will enjoy dinner and sunset sightseeing from the boat. Tour end. There used to be 54 ethnic groups in Sa Pa and now there are only 4 left, Hmong being one of them. I live in Ta Van village where I help my in-laws with Indigo Snail Boutique Hmong Homestay, which is family run. Having lived here my whole life, I can share my culture, family, experiences, and knowledge about traditions with you! I will take you to some of my favorite sports that only locals know about. Discover My Son sanctuary


The My Son sanctuary is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dedicated to the worship of the god Shiva and built between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the kings of Champa. The site features many beautiful stone sculptures, temples and towers, surrounded by exotic tropical jungle. My Son was damaged during Vietnam’s tumultuous past and lay neglected for a long time. It was ‘rediscovered’ and renovated by the French in 1898, then used as a hiding place by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, when they mistakenly thought their American enemy would not bomb a holy site. Despite the destruction that ensued, the majority of the central complex managed to survive and parts have now been rebuilt.
