Welcome on board! Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime day trip to Montserrat from Barcelona and explore Catalonia's most famous mountain range. Take in the panoramic views of the mountain scenery as you ride our air-conditioned bus and discover the history of its medieval monastery by the hand of our passionate guides. Then, enjoy free time to explore on your own. You'll continue towards a beautiful boutique winery (only if Tapas or Lunch options). The cellar also happens to be a 10th century castle owned by the same family for 36 generations with magnificent views of the mountain you just visited. Discover their revival of ancient local grape varieties, which provide a unique glimpse into the region’s rich heritage. Savour traditional flavors with a light tapas brunch or enjoy a multi-course traditional lunch at the winery (depending on the option selected). After that, learn about the wine-making process, and enjoy a wine-tasting session before traveling back to Barcelona.

Marvel at the wonder of these mountains, and the stunning history of the area. First, meet at a bar in the city centre, where you are able to purchase a relaxing breakfast or coffee before we head out. Then after a bus ride up to the bottom of the mountain, we continue up the beautiful mountain roads, all the way up to the magnificent Montserrat Monastery. Enjoy many photo opportunities as you gaze at the beauty of the mountain, before having a history tour of the monastery level. After, there is free time to either go hiking in the magical hills, enjoy an all you can eat lunch looking out over mystical views, or explore the museum and discover all about the history of this famous landmark. There is also the option to upgrade your ticket to include basilica entrance. Then it is back on the bus as we head back to Barcelona where you can experience an evening in the city. Please note that tickets to Basilica, Throne Room & Choir are not included unless selected.

We will do the Via Ferrata de les Dames, a dried canyon equipped whit rungs, chains and cables. The route is varied and scenic, challenging at some points! The duration of the activity will be around 4 hours and it will take place on the south face of Montserrat Mountain.
