The tour start 20 minutes after the ship docks. Our first stop will be at the highest point of the island where you can see the beauty of Roatan, take photos and enjoy local stores in case you want to buy something. We visit the monkeys, macaws and sloth for memorable photos, Then we go to the chocolate factory, our guides will explain the whole process of how it is done. Our 4th stop will be at the rum cake factory, and you will be able to enjoy all the variety they offer. Beach break is the last stop – west bay beach

We will visit the sanctuary of the white-faced capuchin monkeys, the most intelligent species of monkeys in the new world. Our visit will be safe and informative for everyone, from children to adults. We’ll learn about their family organization, alphas, and betas, and how to calculate their age. During these tours people are not allowed to touch the animals, but animals if they feel comfortable allowed to touch people. They are still wild animals and we are not violating their habitat. We don't allowed to feed them as well We’ll then see the crocodiles of Rio Grande de Tarcoles and enjoy the local souvenir sale and a buffet-style restaurant. We can choose to admire the crocodiles from the bridge or take a boat tour for an extra $43. The boat tour lasts approximately 1:40 minutes and includes bird watching and a naturalist guide. We’ll then go to a hidden beach in Jaco to see the sloths. We’ll sit on chairs, have a table, and I’ll serve drinks and snacks.

Our day at Roatan's tropical island starts with a sightseeing experience enjoying the lush island and exploring from the cruise port or resort to the north side of the island to the Manawakie Eco Natural Park. Where you will have the opportunity to learn about the sloths, friendly capuchin monkeys & more wildlife mammals, also you will learn of our local living and history, how our ancestors cooked their food, and information on medicinal plants.
