Carmel-by-the-Sea Mission Areas: A Self-Guided Audio Tour


This self-guided audio walking tour covers Carmel-by-the-Sea’s three mission areas: Mission Ranch, Carmel Mission Basilica, and the Mission Trail Nature Preserve. Mission Beach: Small Group | Outer Reef Snorkel & Dunk Island


QuickCoast travels to one of the most pristine reefs on The Great Barrier Reef. We snorkel two parts (east & west) in separate snorkel sessions. See vibrant corals and clams with a possibilities of a vast variety of marine life including turtles, stingrays, reef sharks, and a vast variety of fishes including clown fish. After two sessions we visit Dunk Island on our return from the reef for an hour and taken ashore by our skipper for a quick history of the island and shown different types of beach walks available. QuickCoast is a large two deck catamaran that restricts passenger numbers to the reef at 30 passengers – so plenty of space for everyone.
