Meissen is a town of approximately about 15 miles (25 km) northwest of Dresden on both banks of the Elbe river in the Free State of Saxony. Meissen is the home of Meissen porcelain, the Albrechtsburg castle, the Gothic Meissen Cathedral and the Meissen Frauenkirche.The Grosse Kreisstadt (English: "major district town") is the capital of the Meissen district. Experience the unique opportunity to enjoy the special atmosphere during the Meißen Advent season. It takes 3 hours by car from Prague to reach Meissen. We spend two hours there.If you like Christmas, you will love Dresden! 11 completely different Christmas markets lie right at your feet: from the very traditional to the merry medieval to the apres-ski charm of the Huttenzauber – you will find it all. Mmmh, can´t you already smell the enticing aroma of baked apples. Takes 30-minute drive from Meissen to Dresden. We have four hours in Dresden for all. The tour takes twelve hours and is provided by car or minivan.

This tour is provided by A/C private car or minivan. It takes 12 hours. I and the professional driver will pick you up at 7 am in a lobby of the hotel you are staying in. It takes 1.5 hours to reach Meissen town from Prague by car. It takes 30 minutes to get to Moritzburg Castle from Meissen town by car. Bottled water will be available in the car for you free of charge.
If you feel hungry we have lunch in a local restaurant in a centre of town. Lunch is not included in the tour price (cca 25 EUR per person).
