Su Nuraxi of Barumini World Heritage UNESCO site Tour


All over the island, there are more than 7000 nuraghes, singular and peculiar buildings. The megalithic fortress built with enormous stones and with a particular charm. Looking at them means having a lot of questions that deserve to be answered. Who built them? What was their function? If you want to discover with us more about those remarkable fortresses, Su Nuraxi of Barumini is a must-see. Part of the UNESCO Heritage since 1997, this nuraghe is the best example to understand the most ancient and mysterious history of Sardinia. We will also discover one of the Domus the Janas of the area, also known as the fairy houses, rock-hewn rooms that are examples of prehistoric funerary art. Gunung Padang or mount Padang is a giant pyramidal megalithic site lies on a hilltop. The site consists of 5 terraces that form a pyramid with an elevation of 885 meters above sea level on its base. Its peak has an elevation of about 989m. According to researches, Gunung Padang site is one of the oldest and the biggest pyramids in the world. Lush mountainous regions surround the site. From the top surface to the North direction, you can see mount Gede-Pangrango on a clear weather. The view is adorable.
