Make Traditional Japanese Sweets Nerikiri & Make matcha


You will try how to make Japanese traditional sweets (Neriki) . First , I will demonstrate it, and you will make 3 different shape of Nerikiri. Please make 1 own your own, totally 4 pieces you can make them. Nerikiri is a very simple confection made of white bean paste, shiratama flour, sugar and water. After make them, you will make matcha. The location is my home, so it is good opportunity to see the lifestyle of Japanese people, and My place( Omotesando )is most fashionable area just 3 mins from station, just 8 mins to go Harajuku, 10 mins Meiji shrine and Yoyogi Park. Zen Garden Making and Matcha Tasting in Handmade Pottery Shop


Usually, Zen garden is something to be appreciated, and there are not many places where it can be experienced. This experience allows gests to create their own unique design using sand for Zen garden, albeit in a small garden. There are no hard movements, so everyone can enjoy it, from small children to the elderly. You can take pictures of yourself eating Matcha and Japanese sweets in front of the Zen garden you have made, which will be a wonderful memory of Kyoto culture. We've been providing cooking experiences in this area for more than 10 years welcoming over 7000 guests from around the world. You will not only learn how to make mochi, but you will learn the cultural back ground of mochi in Japan. This is a highly interactive course that can be enjoyed by any age. In this 2 hour course, we will be making and taste 5 kinds of mochi dishes made from scratch. You'll get a hands-on experience of touching mochi and shaping it into various desserts. At the end of the course, you will be able to taste the Mochi with green tea or coffee. (Other fruit will be used in case strawberries are unavailable).
