We are a boutique receptive agency and our passion is to take care of every detail. Our proposal will take you to a trekking trail that reaches the Emerald Lagoon. From the hotel we will go by comfortable transport to the start of the trail. From there we will take the trail that enters the forest inside the Tierra Mayor Valley. We will cross several turbulence and rocky terrain. We will continue our hike along the Emerald River until we reach the indescribable Emerald Lagoon, a small lake of glacier origin, which owes its name to the color given to the sediments that come from the Ojo del Albino Glacier. This color can only be seen in summer as in winter it will be frozen and covered in snow. While we enjoy the view of the Lagoon we will charge energy eating a box lunch. We can now start the return, where the road will be familiar and we can have the last chance to appreciate the beauties around us. Important: bring bottle water

For safety reasons, the use of mountain clothing and trekking boots is mandatory for this activity. This is a challenging short climb just a few minutes from the city. This trail offers impressive views of the city and the Beagle Channel. The Service is very personalized, groups can be a maximum of 12 people. Become acquainted with this charming Patagonian town, located on the coast of the Beagle Channel at the southernmost tip of Argentina’s Tierra del Fuego. Observe old homes and government buildings on your way to Le Martial Glacier and pass the old prison, lighthouse and several museums on your return. For safety reasons, mountain clothing is necessary for this activity. In case you do not have the appropriate clothing you will have the option to rent. The trailhead is only 15 minutes from the city, where the peat bog begins, and multiple wild trails that become more and more challenging appear. After crossing a river, the path goes deeper into the Fuegian forest, where lengas and guindos accompany you as you move towards the tree line in a 600-meter elevation gain climb. The last part of the trail takes place on high-mountain terrain with a challenging incline that finishes when we get to Tempanos lagoon. If the weather is favorable and if the group of hikers is in good condition, we will go around the lagoon to approach the Vinciguerra glacier and look at its cracks and moulins. Afterward, we will take the same trail back to the transfer that will take you to your hotel.

This excursion begins at our office and the first stop will be La Misión, now a neighborhood in the city but also a historic site once occupied by both the native people and the first missionaries who arrived in the region. Here, we will see remnants of the settlement and admire the imposing Andes Mountains at the edge of the Beagle Channel. During the tour, our guide will continue to share the story of the city’s evolution and history as we visit iconic landmarks such as the old airport, the giant letter sign with the city’s name, the port, the Maritime and Prison Museum of Ushuaia, and the Martial Glacier Reserve. Once at the Martial Glacier reserve, we visit the famous Glacier Tea House and Beer Point

For safety reasons, mountain clothing is necessary for this activity. In case you do not have the appropriate clothing you will have the option to rent. We get to the starting point by following national route 3 for about 17 kilometers; we begin the hike at the trail’s parking lot, which quickly takes us deep into the forest. The trail takes us close to a beaver dam and crosses the valley until finding a peat bog, where it will follow the Esmeralda river all the way to its source in the Esmeralda lagoon. After a final climb, we will get to the lagoon: frozen in the winter and dazzling us with its stunning color during the summer. If the weather is good enough, we will have lunch by the lagoon with a breathtaking view of the Albino glacier, the lagoon, and the surroundings. Afterward, we will take the same trail back to the transfer that will take you to your hotel.

The transport will pick us up at the accommodation and will take us 7 km from the city of Ushuaia to the valley of Andorra. We begin the demanding ascent through the forest and typical Fuegian vegetation. After an arduous walk and halfway you can see the magnificent landscapes of millenary peat that surround us. Then we cross the border of vegetation (timberland) where an imposing lagoon and the Vinciguerra Glacier awaits us with its most incredible ice caves in the world that generate great admiration for nature. While we enjoy this wonderful place, we will charge energy by eating our box lunch. Once finished we take photos and we will be willing to undertake the return, with the same requirement; perhaps with the luck of finding some beaver and many more experiences
