Marrakech Atlas

Join us on board for a moment beyond the beautiful landscapes of the Atlas and the Marrakech desert , and benefit from the classic flight formula, which contains , round trip transportation , Berber breakfast in a kasbah from southern Morocco, balloon flight in front of the Atlas and the ochre city of Marrakech, and flight certificate to fill it all. The duration of the flight will be one hour.

Pickup from Riad or the hotel in Marrakech at around 08:30 am. Meet the guide in Marrakech, and drive south-east towards the majestic Atlas Mountains. Stop to take a picture of the oldest Berber village in the Tahanout area, and visit the Berber woman cooperative. Stop at Asni to picture the summit of Oukaimden before reaching Imlil. Reach Imlil village, and start the walk going through the Berber villages to discover their culture. Visit a waterfall in the middle of nowhere. The walk will be gentle, and the views are awesome. Lunch will be cooked by our family in my traditional home. Return to Marrakesh by 5:00 pm.

I will pick you up from your riad hotel in Marrakech, and we will head south towards the Moulay Brahim gorges.  In about 1h30 we will arrive at the village of Asni to visit a weekly market (Tuesday and Saturday)   We will continue to the village of Imlil (1.740m), located in the upper foothills of the western High Atlas mountains.  Here we will leave our vehicle to enjoy a welcome glass of mint tea.  After your tea, our hike begins!  We will walk south to the Berber village of Aroumd (1.843m) passing the hamlets.  You will see Mount Toubkal, which is the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa.  The views will be amazing and I will tell you all about the Berber way of life.   The journey continues until we reach the village of Ait-Souka for lunch in the house of a Berber family.  After lunch you will be taken back to Marrakech to arrive at 4:30 PM.

The most beautifal roed and certainly, the best known in marrakech  ourika vally 60km from Marrakech, named after the water coming down from the hight atlas green with its berber villages which are hung down from the mountain brece by water in addition to its beautifal huts of water and cool shade of fruit trees near the village of setti fadma.  It is from this town that you can have acces after a 1 hour walking to the first waterfall. You really deserve this fresh water !  This valley is the favorite destinations from marrakech day heat. Here you can enjoy delicious regional dishes in many restaurant installed on the river.
