Start your day with a scenic drive along the North Coast road with the most amazing panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. Stop at the Maracas Lookout where you can take photos of the surrounding bays and maybe try some local snacks (not included). Continue on the 1.25-mile beach, lined with coconut trees, where waves can reach an average height of 1-meter. Swim, relax or have a cool walk along the sandy shores. Also enjoy the famous bake and fish sandwich.

Take a drive through the lively shopping streets of Port of Spain. See the Queen’s Park Savannah and the magnificent, seven, colonial style buildings and visit the National Museum (according to availability). Visit Fort George for spectacular panoramic views of Port of Spain. Next, take the North Coast road to the famous Maracas Beach. Make a stop at the lookout point, take some photos of the surrounding bays and even try some local snacks such as pineapple chutney. At the beach, relax, swim or just have a walk on its’ sandy shores. Also, try the famous "bake and fish” sandwich. So tasty!

Hummingbird enthusiasts will be in awe at this hidden gem in the Maracas Valley, located in the Northern Range of Trinidad. Yerette, Home of the Hummingbird, is a sanctuary for the hundreds and sometimes thousands of hummingbirds that visit during the year. Visitors will be up close and personal with up to fourteen out of the eighteen species of hummingbirds that are found in Trinidad and Tobago. While there, enjoy a meal or some tea on the grounds as you watch the dance of the Hummingbird. The haven is named appropriately as Yerette is the Amerindian word for hummingbird. Against the background of the silk cotton trees, orchids, ferns and shrubs, you will have the opportunity to have a close up experience. Enjoy a tea or meal on the grounds as you watch the dance of the birds. The couple’s photography and art gallery has an abundant collection of their works. We then take you on an amazing trip into the Caroni Swamp. Going through a maze of waterways in a mangrove swamp considered to be the best in the Western Hemisphere, you can get the opportunity to experience species of mammals, reptiles crustacean life, and unique mangrove vegetation and many of the 186 species of bird wildlife present in the Sanctuary.
