The Tamarindo estuary is a long, vast river mouth with mangrove forest. It is located between Tamarindo and Playa Grande. The labyrinth of meanders, streams and lagoons is vast and rarely explored. It is a perfect 2.5 hour trip for nature lovers. You can paddle through the calm waters of the estuary, between Playa Tamarindo and Playa Grande. Before boarding your speedboat, receive basic instructions and learn safety signals from your guide. Drive your two-seat speedboat and follow your guide through Nichupté lagoon's calm waters. After navigating around mangrove forests, reach the open waters of the Caribbean. Lower the anchor with the aid of your guide and put your snorkel gear to get a closer look at the reef before diving in.
