Our Whisky and Folklore tour is unlike any other experience in Edinburgh.  We take you to our personal, custom designed, whisky venue where you will be served four classic Single Malt Scotch Whiskies and immerse ourselves in the great cultural importance of whisky and storytelling in Scotland. The ticket price includes the cost of the whiskies (ONLY IF YOU DO NOT SELECT THE "NO WHISKY" OPTION. 4 great single malt Scotch whiskies will be served over the tour. Drink alternatives are available upon request for those who do not drink whisky.

This 50-minute guided tour, ideal for whisky novices and families, is the perfect introduction to the world of whisky. Discover the whisky making process. Explore the five Scotch whisky producing regions and learn how the geography and weather combine to create regional characteristics shaping a single malt whisky's unique flavour. Delve into the history and alchemy of blending, and learn how the art of creating a perfectly balanced blended Scotch whisky came about. Finally, enjoy a guided tasting of your chosen whisky as you explore one of the world's largest collections of Scotch whisky. The Tour cannot be changed to a different time.

You visit Glengoyne, a tiny, quaint distillery located at the foot of a delightful hill. And you explore Deanston distillery, a large distillery with a fascinating industrial past. What’s more is you blend these delicious flavours with a visit to one of the most famous lochs in the whole of Scotland at the Loch Lomond National Park. Join us for a fun evening of whisky tasting, Scottish music and plenty of craic with the team and folk singer Davy Holt. Guests will enjoy three stand out single malt whiskies that have been selected by the team. You will be guided through the whisky and learn about each distillery, its history and the wonderful variety of tasting notes. Drink Tasmania’s full day Whisky Tour departs from Hobart and gives you the opportunity to visit 3 distilleries in a single day. While being driven and guided through spectacular Tasmanian landscapes from the Coal Valley to the Southern Midlands to the Tasmanian Highlands you'll be able to taste up to a dozen Tasmanian single malt whiskies and spirits, meet the whisky makers and to go behind the scenes of the distillation process. We visit different distilleries on different days of the week depending on availability, however we will always ensure we create the best and most diverse experience available for our guests on any given day.
