This unique tour of the Panama Canal goes from the Pacific to the Atlantic ocean as you see the canal from the water and by foot. An exciting boat ride down the canal will introduce you to the transiting ships as well as the abundant wildlife on its shores, followed by a visit to Fort San Lorenzo and the new Agua Clara Locks. This tour captures Aguas Clara's New set of locks located on the Caribbean side of the canal and built-in 2016 as a part of the so-called Panama Canal expansion to welcome the giant ships(new Panamax) through the Panama Canal. We will stop by the visitor center so you can appreciate the transit of these mega-ships on their way to the Pacific or the Atlantic Ocean. Then we will make our way through San Lorenzo Park, a rainforest full of flora and fauna, Sherman's former military base, until we reach the San Lorenzo fort.
