Langhe-Roero and Monferrato

Together we will meet the Piedmontese tradition seen from Tuscany. We will prepare the traditional tajarin, the Piedmontese ravioli del plin, the typical pici of Siena looking at the splendid hills of Monferrato. Everything will be prepared following the best local traditional recipes. We will prepare two different types of dough and, at the end, a dessert according to the season.

Unlike most tours, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with the owner, the winery's winemaker, who will guide you in all phases, from the vineyard to the tasting

I'm a professional truffle hunter from 3 generations in Alba. My grandfather after the 2nd world war was one of the first truffle hunters, he taught my father all the secrets about the precious "ipogean fungus" then my father taught it to me. I'm a dog trainer and actually I've got 3 great dogs: Lisa, Palli & Isi. I would like to teach "some'' of my truffle hunting secrets to travelers. During the tour you will be helped by my friend Margherita. She's an official tourist guide with great passion for truffles and local culture, translating every part of the hunting.

The tour will start from our tasting room to welcome you in the best possible way. From here we will trace the history of Cantina Moscone with a focus on the vineyards and the surrounding area. Then the tour route will allow us to understand and observe the production techniques of our wines. “The Dosman” is our take it easy. A dynamic and versatile tasting, great as an aperitif or for a simple break from the world.

We will visit the Langhe, a UNESCO world heritage site since 2014, from an ecological and sporting point of view. A few kilometers away from Alba and Barolo, we will travel along paved secondary roads and you will have a professional at your disposal who will be able to help you make the best use of your ebike and will explain what surrounds you so you can better appreciate this wonderful wine-growing region . The route is approximately 40 kilometers long with a difference in altitude of 840 metres, therefore suitable for medium-trained cyclists. We will discover the main natural resources of this magnificent land and admire the medieval towers and villages, in a setting that will take us back in time. The route, completely on asphalt, is easy and safe for everyone. In case of difficulty on the steep sections, the guide will show you how to tackle them safely, or will change the route to make it easier and more fun for everyone.

The Langhe is a territory recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO located in Piedmont, in the area between Cuneo and Asti. The territory is characterized by woods and vineyards, as well as rivers and a panoramic set of hills. Bordering the territory of Roero, Monferrato and Astesana, the Langhe can be divided into three areas: "Bassa Langa", "Alta Langa", "Langa Astigiana".

In case of difficulty on the steep sections, the guide will show you how to tackle them safely, or he will change the route to make it easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

The hiking tour starting in Alba, the Langhe capital, passes through the hills around the town providing walkers with a vantage point to enjoy a panorama overlooking the surrounding hills and valleys. Wine assumes a unique importance in this region. The Piedmont vineyard landscape is undoubtedly one of the most harmonious and most consistent with the ideal of a “scenic” rural and vineyard landscape, accentuated by the gently rolling hills that provide many vistas and panoramas with subtle nuances. In the middle of walking, just on the top of the hill, the winery waits you for a delicious wine tasting with small bites of traditional local products. This tour is indicated for tourists that arrive in Alba by pubblic transportation especially and without a car. This tour is recommended for people in good shape, used to walk uphill.
