Join us as we hike to La Chorrera, Colombia´s highest waterfall! We´ll start the day with a traditional Colombian breakfast. Then we´ll set off by a van to La Chorrera. Next we will reach the park and set off on our trek, taking in the spectacular landscape, breathing the pure air and enjoying the colorful birds(depending of the season we may not see birds) found at the top of the trees, finally reaching the 590 meter wall of water (depends of the season the chorrera maybe dont have water; but the tour still worth it just for the vews). We´ll have lunch at a restaurant before heading back to Bogotá. This 3-4 hour hike is challenging but rewarding, please make sure to bring comfortable shoes and bottled water! Our tour has selected one of the most beautiful balconies in Antioquia where specialty coffee is produced. The view, history of coffee culture in Colombia, the heroes (real farmers) and a 150m waterfall where you can see make of this tour an unique experience. The guide will then take you on a tour around the farm. You will learn about the property, and receive a hands on experience whilst learning about the coffee cultivation process. They will take you through picking the coffee fruits, then teach you about the de-shelling, fermentation, cleaning, drying and roasting. On the way back to Jericó we will stop by a waterfall where you will have the opportunity to view a beautiful rainbow through the water (weather permitting). We will then return to Jericó.

Hike crossing La Tigra National Park Tegucigalpa we'll take you on our Land Cruiser 4X4 to San Juancito and from there you'll cross the national park hiking. We will be waiting for you at Jutiapa (the other side of La Tigra). Expect to see waterfalls, sightseeing spots and fauna of a cloud forest mountain of a tropical area.
