Kulaniapia Falls

Kulaniapia Falls is the largest, privately accessible waterfall in Hawaii, and the ONLY waterfall in the area that you can swim / kayak / paddleboard under when river safety conditions permit (rental fee applies for kayaks and paddleboards). Your daypass in includes a DISCOUNT on waterfall rappelling, cooking classes, and other experiences you can book on or prior to your arrival.

Experience farm to table in an incredibly personal and authentic way, led be a member of our community who is passionate about growing food, and sharing it with others. We grow over 30 types of food, and will harvest fresh produce together. We will use whatever is in season to make a delicious meal together! After harvesting, we will prepare our meal in our barns beautifully finished loft, with views of Hilo Bay and Mauna Kea.

Enjoy a fantastic meal, overlooking Kulaniapia Falls, with daytime access to the property prior to your meal. Your booking includes a daypass to arrive at Kulaniapia Falls and explore the property, arriving at/after 3pm.

You will be equipped with top of the line equipment, and provided with ample instruction to ensure your descent down the falls will be safe, fun and exhilarating.  Kulaniapia Adventures tours depart form The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls, and must be booked in advance. Parking available on site for registered guests only. NO ACCESS TO PROPERTY WITHOUT BOOKING. Guests accompanying rappelling customers in the same vehicle may purchase a guest pass to Kulaniapia Falls when they arrive onsite for $49+tax.
