Next, explore the 6th-century monastic ruins of Glendalough, nestled among lakes and forested hills. You’ll have two hours here for sightseeing and lunch (not included). Galway to Connemara National Park Day Tour


Escape the city, and taste the fresh air in the wilderness of the Connemara National Park. En route to and from the National Park, your driver/guide will give you a detailed insight into the region. They will tell you all about the traditional music, the local language and strong culture that still thrives in this wild part of Ireland. At the National Park, you will have two hours to explore the area and take in a hike. You can also visit the welcome center which has tea rooms, picnic and toilet facilities.


Inis Mór (Aran Islands) Day Trip: Return Ferry from Rossaveel, Galway


Inis Mór (Inishmore), the largest of the Aran Islands, is filled with traditional Irish culture and offers breath-taking scenery, ecclesiastical ruins and prehistoric stone forts such as the world renowned, Dún Aonghasa. Hop on a mini-bus tour or pony and trap and explore the island with a local guide. Bike hire is also available on the island, along with pubs, restaurants and shops selling traditional Irish crafts, including the Aran Sweater.
