The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable. Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes. Departure is from Budva . Our first pause will be monastery Ostrog. Monastery Ostrog is consisted out of Higher(church of Holy Cross-1665) and lower church(church of Holy Trinity-1824). In Higher church are located relics of St.Basil of Ostrog. To the higher church you can come by foot or taxi. Over there you will have some 2h30min time to visit monastery, after which you will have lunch break. Return back to Budva around 16:00h.
