‘Adelaide Highlights with Wine Tasting and Coast’ is a full day tour featuring some of Adelaide's finest experiences. With several pick-up points around Adelaide CBD this small group day tour offers a wonderful balance of sightseeing and wine tasting and packs a punch as far as must do highlights when visiting Adelaide. City Tour, Mount Lofty Lookout, 2 hours to explore Township of Hahndorf, then off to McLaren Vale to enjoy wine tasting and more sightseeing. Wine tasting at the beautiful Chapel Hill wines and the stunning Haselgrove Wines, photo opportunities and a scenic drive along the coastline with a 15 min stop in seaside suburb of Glenelg. You can choose to stay in Glenelg and watch the sunset, and catch the tram back to Adelaide at your convenience, or jump back on board and head back to Adelaide for drop off.

A comfortable bus collects from the Stamford Plaza Hotel (Adelaide CBD) at mid-morning, then takes you out to the beautiful hills region surrounding the historic township of Hahndorf, to follow a looping circuit featuring 8-10 of the best wineries and venues in the area. Each circuit takes approximately 1-hour to complete, giving you plenty of time to sample that venue's offering. Along the way you are free to hop-on or off at any of 4 selected stops on the timetable. Bus returns to the city in the late afternoon, disembarking at approximately 5:00pm.

With over 23 years in Adelaide & the Tourism Industry we have great knowledge about Adelaide and Hahndorf. This is a Narrated Tour and is subject to change as sometimes we have requests to maybe go a longer way thru the Adelaide Hills weather permitting. Sometimes we may skip Mt Lofty. If you can't see it from the city we will waste are time going there, which may give us more time to visit another area along the way or spend more time in Hahndorf itself.

This 4.5 hours ( including travel from /to Adelaide CBD base) tour is designed for small private groups up to 12 people maximum. Please note this tour can be customised to your needs, for example a winery or distillery visit instead of chocolate factory. For larger groups over 6 people we usually organise lunch in one of German pubs or in a restaurant of your choice.

Then travel though the townships of Adelaide Hills to Barossa stopping at places of interest along the way. A full day tour takes you to South Australia's premium wine region. Have lunch at Kies Family Wines or another venue if not available. After Lunch we will visit Maggie Beer Farm and Seppeltsfield Winery to explore the grounds and visit the Jam Factory and Vasse Virgin. Take a walk around these Magnificent Grounds. Return to your hotel between 5-5:30pm
