Flyers also have the option to stay dry or get wet – will you make a splash? Time on board is approximately one hour and 30 minutes with a full boat of 12 passengers. Come join the crew aboard the Tammy Jane for a 2-hour educational and picturesque low-country experience as we take you out Shrimping! We invite you to learn about our healthy salt marsh environment, and introduce you to some of the sea creatures we'll safely pull up in our nets (in addition to shrimp!). We will explore how various ecosystems intertwine to create the rich food web that provides food for our tables. This is a unique opportunity for guests of all ages! If we do catch shrimp aboard an expedition the crew will package some up for guests to take home.

In this tour, you will experience two of the most popular hikes on the island. Since parking is limited at both locations, having a shuttle is highly recommended! We will provide you guys with a water bottle and some information about the island. Feel free to ask as many questions!

The trip takes us across Seaford Bay, passing Seaford Head before reaching the Coastguard Cottages at Cuckmere Haven. We’ll then continue along the Sussex Heritage Coast towards Birling Gap and the Belle Toute Lighthouse. However, the excitement doesn’t end there…! We’ll then venture even further east to the base of the world famous Beachy Head Lighthouse. It lies approximately seven miles to the east of our home in Newhaven Port and stands an impressive 33m tall. The iconic red and white stripes look resplendent when close up. There’ll be plenty of time for photos before heading home a little further out to sea. In the summer months, we have regular sightings of Harbour Porpoise and occasionally Common Seals close to the Beachy Head Lighthouse itself.

Our 3-Hour tour leaves at 11:00 am and follows the scenic South Portland Greenbelt Pathway to three local lighthouses. The first stop on the tour will be Portland Breakwater Light, also known as "Bug Light" and then the tour will continue to Spring Point Ledge Light, located near historic Fort Preble. Next, the tour will pass by Willard Beach before arriving at the final stop, the famous Portland Head Light located at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth. It is recommended that patrons bring a lunch or we can assist in purchasing lunch from a local food truck that serves Lobster Rolls.

If you're looking for an authentic lowcounty experience look no further than Daufuskie Island on your next trip to Hilton Head. It's only a 30 minute Ferry ride from Harbour Town but it will feel like you stepped back in time when you arrive! Along the way to Daufuskie Island you will hear tails of this sea islands past from your naturalist captain. This trip allows 3-hours on Daufuskie Island. One of the most popular things to do when arrive is a self guided golf cart tour. 3-hour golf cart rentals will be available for purchase upon arrival to the island. There are 4-seater golf carts available to rent. Make sure to visit the Daufuskie Island Crab Company for lunch before you leave.

Come explore the low country on a 90 minute dolphin tour with Island Head. We depart from Broad Creek Marina in the center of Hilton Head Island. We explore the beautiful water way of Broad Creek a rich eco system of wildlife including the famous bottle nose dolphin, a variety of birds, and so much more. We will also explore the Calibogue Sound where we will see from the water the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse, Daufuskie Island, Buck Island, Bull Island, and see Hilton Head Island from the water. Depending on the time of day and tides the captain will take the boat to the best spot off of these locations to increase our chances to find some wildlife. Located at the tip of the Hook Peninsula in County Wexford in Ireland's Ancient East, the Hook Lighthouse is the oldest operational lighthouse in the world, and has marked the entrance to Waterford Harbour for over 800 years. Enjoy a 45-minute guided tour of this purpose-built, fully operational lighthouse. The visitor center features a gift shop, an art workshop, exhibits and a café.
