Hornblower Cruises is a local family run business since 1984. This tour is fantastic for those who would like to explore the two islands of the north in one day. Departure from Bugibba towards the island of Comino where you stop for 1.5 hours to snorkel, swim and take pictures of the crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon then cruise to the island of Gozo where you will stop for 3 hours. On Gozo you can take the mini bus/ coach tour for 5euro per person. Please let us know upon booking whether you would like to do the tour.

Itinerary: Departing from Sliema ferries, we cruise north, directly to the sister island Gozo. We stop at Mgarr Harbour (Gozo’s main harbour) where you will board one of our buses that will take you to Xlendi Bay, and then Victoria to see the Citadel (Old Fortified City). In the afternoon, once again you will board the Luzzu Cruises Vessel and proceed to the island of Comino, where we will stop in the crystal clear waters of the famous Blue Lagoon for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling etc… After our stop at the Blue Lagoon, we visit the Comino caves and cruise back to Sliema. Departures: Winter schedule: departure from Sliema ferry, ferries 4 at 10am and returns at 5pm Summer schedule: departure from Sliema ferry, ferries 4: – First departure at 10am and returns at 5.30pm Second departure at 10.30am and returns at 5.30pm IMPORTANT: To get off the boat at Comino Blue Lagoon, please register to obtain free pass QR Code and choose afternoon slot 13.31 – 17.30. Take in how the golden shoreline contrasts with the azure waters as you make your way to the Crystal Lagoon situated on the western side of Comino. See for yourself why this lagoon is known for its incredibly clear and vibrant turquoise waters with a 45-minute stop to swim, snorkel with the included gear, and sunbathe. Next, head to the iconic Blue Lagoon where the sunlight penetrates to the shallow, sandy seabed, creating dazzling shades of blue. Spend an hour plus of free time swimming through the waters, looking at fish with the snorkeling gear, or basking in the sun on the shore. Pass by the island of Gozo & visit an area know as the promising rock (Gebla tal Halfa) for approximately 45 minutes. Finally, end your experience with a photo shop at the Santa Maria Caves and Elephant Rock before returning to the port.

We’ll take a kayak adventure to beautiful Comino – exploring caves, crystal waters, gorgeous bays, beaches or rock formations (weather dependent)! This experience is a half-day guided tour (10am – 1pm or 2:30pm-5:30pm) from Gozo to Comino. We'll either head clockwise past Santa Marija towards the Blue Lagoon or the reverse route. You will see amazing caves, bays and rock formations. Please understand that all tours are weather-dependent and not all areas/routes may be accessible. This tour is for beginners and experienced kayakers. The tour has 2.5 hours of kayaking and includes 30 min break. In the break, you can swim, relax and explore on land! If needed, the guide will teach you the basics and make sure you feel comfortable! This is an active adventure, so a basic level of fitness and swimming ability required.
