Specially designed for guests coming on cruise ships! This is a 3 hour Tour. We meet at the downtown cruise ship dock. Enjoy the 30 minute narrated tour, past downtown Juneau out to the Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area. Explore the visitor center, trails and photo opportunities for 2 hours. Then your guide will be ready to take you back to the downtown dock area with great ideas for the rest of your visit to Juneau.

Start your tour with a pick up from your hotel location with one of Alaska's top rated guides. First experience one of Alaska’s most breathtaking drives down the Seward Hwy and Turnagain Arm with a few sightseeing stops at Beluga Point and Bird Point. We will then arrive in the Portage Valley making stops at Explorer Glacier, Middle Glacier and boarding the M/V Ptarmigan for an hour long cruise on Portage Lake viewing multiple surrounding glaciers and majestic landscapes with the main focus on Portage Glacier. This is a tour for those who wish to enjoy outdoor activities in the fresh mountain air and experience the unspoiled natural beauty of Iceland at its best. Breiðamerkurjökull is a part of Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe, and glacier hiking is the perfect way to get to know this magnificent natural phenomenon while at the same time enjoying the surrounding and majestic mountain views. We meet at Jökulsárlón and embark on a 30-minute jeep ride to where we start our walk, at which point all passengers receive necessary safety equipment and instructions from the guide, essential for glacier walks. During the tour, passengers will acquire knowledge about the glacier and view some unique ice sculpture and crevasse formations. Conditions for photography are exceptional in this unique landscape, and, again, there will be very few people around.

This is the perfect tour for those with limited time in Alaska. Experience magnificent Portage Glacier on this full-day tour from Anchorage, as well as famous Seward Highway, America's most scenic road. Hugging the edge of Turnagain Arm, stop at lookouts like Beluga Point to try to spot all sheep then, continue on to see even more wildlife at the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge (seasonal). Take a 1-hour cruise on Portage Lake to see Portage Glacier calving, and see where wildlife is rehabilitated at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Later, head high up on the Chugach Mountains for amazing panoramic views of the Anchorage bowl and beyond (weather permitting) This is a 6-hr tour (approx.) Activity Level: EASY Guests should be able to walk short distances on uneven ground. Trails surfaces vary from paved to uneven natural terrain. Tour participants must be able to walk a short distance and be able to get in/out of the tour vehicle with minimal assistance.

If you want to get more out of your Ice cave tour, then we recommend this tour for you. Ice caves are really popular now, and it can be hard to find an Ice cave that is not crowded. We will try to time the visit to the ice cave well, giving you more time to enjoy the amazing wild nature around the glacier. On this tour, we also do a glacier walk were we will visit a very nice blue glacier canyon.

Enjoy this spectacular trip to “El Morado” Natural Monument National Park, located at 93 kms (57 miles) from Santiago.  The starting point of the hike is in Baños Morales, a mountain village at 1,900 meters of altitude (6,200 ft). The trail leads to the beautiful San Francisco Glacier lookout at 2,500 meters (8,200 ft) and the Morales Glacier lagoon. During the hike we will have a refreshing stop at “Aguas de Panimávida”, iron-rich carbonated waters that directly spills out from the earth. Difficulty level is HIGH. This tour is recommended for people in good physical shape. The first hour of the hike is steep and then it becomes flat. The difference of altitude is of 600 meters (1,900 ft).

The ultimate multi activity package: a helicopter tour, a dogsled tour and a landing on the lower glacier to explore the melt pools and crevasses. Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a huge snow field high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with Alaskan sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer long. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team if you want, or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team.
