This tour highlights our cultural offerings, old town, things to do, and early Texas – German ties that make Fredericksburg one of the top ranked places to visit in the United States! This tour is also offered as a PRIVATE TOUR AVAILABLE for 8+ people and can be booked any day of the week as a private tour. Please be aware that for less than 8 passengers this tour may take place in our luxury mini-coach.

Start your excursion in San Antonio, and enjoy a scenic drive into the Texas Hill Country where you will have the chance to explore the town of Fredericksburg, Texas; A quaint historic town with strong German roots. While in Fredericksburg, you will have the chance to enjoy some of the many great local restaurants, wine tasting rooms, shops, and museums. The excursion departs San Antonio at 10am and returns approximately at 4pm.

Enjoy a full day of wine and scenic Hill Country sights from San Antonio. The day starts with pick up from your downtown/Riverwalk area hotel as we head northwest of the city into the Hill Country region of Texas. This region is home to the continually growing Texas wine region with nearly 90 wineries in the area. On this tour we will visit three local wineries and include a two hour visit to the charming town of Fredericksburg (approx. 70mi from San Antonio). While visiting Fredericksburg, guests will have time to freely explore the town, enjoy some shopping, and have lunch on their own. This tour includes all guests basic wine tasting fees.
