Durante o concerto de uma hora, você entrará em contato com elementos culturais portugueses únicos – Fado, instrumentos tradicionais portugueses de cordas e vinho do Porto – todos profundamente relacionados à história portuguesa. A actuação do fado decorre num ambiente intimista, geralmente com um ou dois cantores, acompanhados por um guitarrista português e por guitarristas (tocando uma viola de fado). Um tradicional vinho do Porto será servido durante o intervalo para completar a noite e será oferecido um postal ilustrado, contendo alguma explicação sobre a essência do Fado. É aconselhável chegar 10 minutos antes.

Meet a collective of professional Fado artists who share a passion for Traditional Fado (a brench of Fado, considered the purest one). This style, considered the genuine art of Fado, combines all the aesthetics and authenticity of this music genre. Before the concert you will have the opportunity to talk with the musicians. They will explain you the different styles that are usually played in Fado concerts with musical examples and why the traditional style is the most artistic one. Before the concert, you'll be offered a Port wine. At the concert you won't hear mainstream setlists or any other styles like "Marchas de Lisboa" or Folk Music, often called as Fado for tourists or comercial Fado. It's the only concert in Porto fully dedicated to authentic and artistic Fado. Silence at the concert is required. Music will be played by a typical trio: a "Fadista" (term for Fado singer), a classical guitar player and a Portuguese guitar player. In each concert you'll hear two fado singers: a man and a women. You will hear 12 Fados and 2 instrumentals songs.

Visit one of the most beautiful monasteries in Portugal with a local guide and after the visit, enjoy the authenticity of Fado, performed by our Fado singer, accompanied by the Portuguese guitar and the Viola de Fado. Discover different elements of Portuguese culture and heritage, accompanied by a glass of Port Wine and a Singeverga Liqueur, handcrafted by the Benedictine monks of the Singeverga Monastery in Portugal. You will also have the opportunity to visit a shop with products produced by monks from Portugal. We recommend arriving 30 minutes in advance.

Choose between two daily time slots – 6:00 PM or 7:30 PM – with the performance you'll be taste an exclusive Port wine (or water if preferred) to make the moment even more special. You'll have the opportunity to explore the magnificent Trindade complex, one of Porto's best-kept secrets. Important: last admission is at 5:00 PM, so plan to arrive with enough time (we recommend at least one hour to see everything comfortably). Inside, you'll find the impressive and the largest Church at Oporto City, decorated with golden details, the fascinating Sacred Art Museum housing historical relics, and the breathtaking Bell Tower.
