We visit Teotitlán del Valle where we will see the house – workshop of a wool rug artisan. We visit a factory, outlet or palenque of mezcal to have a tasting of this traditional alcoholic beverage of the state. The tour will begin by visiting the majestic Tule Tree, an ahuehuete that is more than 2000 years old. From Tuesday to Sunday don´t miss Mitla, a town and municipal seat in the state of Oaxaca, famous for being the site of the archaeological ruins of Mitla. Continue to Hierve el agua, it is in the heart of a steep mountain range that during the dry season is characterized by its extreme aridity. Natural beauty is not the only attraction of this site. Later we will visit Teotitlán del Valle, a community where residents are dedicated to making handicrafts on a pedal loom, with wool rugs standing out. An artisan will demonstrate how they obtain the different colors with natural products such as cochineal, indigo, etc. On the route, a stop of 1 hour will be made in a mezcal distillery to learn about the process of its elaboration in an artisanal way and we will have a tasting of this famous Oaxacan drink

Oaxaca's FAVORITE ride. A must do while you're here! Join this beautiful and safe bike ride to see the massive and ancient "El Tule" tree, which is famous for being the WIDEST tree in the world. We'll also visit the town of "Santa Maria del Tule", its church and its market. This is a great GUIDED ride and we'll provide you with a BIKE and HELMET. We'll meet in Oaxaca city to start our journey to El Tule (45 min. ride, 10 km or 6 miles one way). We'll ride on a SAFE bike lane covered with tree shades for the most part. It's mostly flat. We'll start biking out of the city first, then towards the outskirts with views of beautiful hills, and crop fields. Once we arrive to Santa Maria, we'll take you to the tree, the colorful church and the beautiful lush gardens. Here you'll LEARN interesting facts and history about the tree. Then, we'll have time to visit the food market to grab a bite/drink and to walk around the square and gardens. REQUIREMENTS: To know how to ride a bike (20 km).

We will get to know Oaxaca, culture, history, art and gastronomy. Designed for people who enjoy cycling and want to know special places. We carry out our experience with a professional team, we will leave from Oaxaca City by bicycle, visit several places in 2 towns of Oaxaca. The first is 10 km from the city and is the warm town of Santa Maria El Tule where we will know the gastronomy market and we can make a traditional breakfast (option with Food), then visit the majestic millennial tree. The second place 6 km from the Tule is Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, we go to the village dam and if we have time we can know the house – workshop of a leather or leather craftsman and a traditional bread workshop. Note: Departure and return is by bicycle and from the office or space destined in the city center (35 km round on average). Experience in the use of the bicycle is necessary.
