We provides 4 options for clients with different demands. If you want to see the more active pandas with less crowds, you can choose the option 1 to visit Dujiangyan panda base and irrigation park as a day tour. However, if you have already seen the pandas before and you like hiking in the nature, please choose the option 2 to visit the UNESCO's natural and cultural heritage-Mt. Qingcheng and Dujiangyan irrigation system. Furthermore, if you only need a private transfer to those attractions, please select the option 3 and 4

Dujianyan Panda Base is one of the few bases offer panda volunteer program in China. The full day program include panda food making and features of documentary video of releasing panda to the wildness. Accompanied by a professional panda expert who will introduce you the topics of the panda discovery, the history of panda in China, the classification, and panda conservation. Dujiangyan Panda Base is dedicated to the study of disease control and rescue of wild pandas where you will contribute to the conservation of endangered panda bears! ***Starting from April 25, 2024, panda volunteers will not be allowed to enter the panda enclosure, and the arrangement of clean the panda enclosures & collect panda poop will be canceled. ***Any activities missed due to being late will not be rescheduled, and guests will bear the consequences.

7：00-8:40 Pick up and go to Dujiangyan or Wolong Panda Base 8:40-9:00 Complete registration procedure; put on the work suit and gloves, wear the volunteer pass card. 9:00-10:00 Start to clean the panda enclosure ,as well as cracking bamboos,carry out the leftovers, etc. 10:00-11:30 Walk around other panda enclosures to see the adorable black and white animals, learn more stories about the pandas. 11:30-13:00 Lunch and break 13:00-14:00 Watch a panda documentary to learn more about the scientific facts and the life of panda. 14:00-15:00 Make panda cakes , cut the bamboo leaves and be issued the certificate of panda volunteering exerience. 15:00-17:00 Drive back to downtown Chengdu Pls notice that this is a rough schedule for the day tour, it may be affected by the panda’s conditions.

Looking for a place to have a pleasant night? This tour started at an authentic local Sichuan food restaurant, amazing and various food there on menu and you order it. We would recommend you to free yourself and try hot, but your guide will also help you to know that Sichuan food is more than just spicy. After dinner we will take you cross old bridges which are lit in colors, wander through several old streets, climb up the old wall and discover the ancient city gate. The whole walk is about 40 mins and we know the best spots for you to take beautiful photos! Please note that our trips start at Dujiangyan area of Chengdu, so it is best that you book your hotel at Dujiangyan, because most of the essential scenic spots of Chengdu are here in Dujiangyan. The Dujiangyan Irrigation System is originally constructed around 256BC by the State of Qin as an irrigation and flood control project, it is still in use today. The system’s infrastructure is on the Min River,the longest tributary of the Yangtze. The area is in the west part of the Chengdu Plain, at the confluence between the Sichuan basin and the Tibetan plateau.The Dujiangyan, the Zhengguo Canal in Shaanxi and the Lingqu Canal in Guangxi are collectively known as the "three great hydraulic engineering projects of the Qin." Mount Qingcheng is a mountain in Dujiangyan, Sichuan, China. It is considered one of the birthplaces of Taoism and one of most important Taoist centres in China. It is home to Dujiangyan Giant Panda Center and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.At a height of only 1,260 meters (4,133 feet), Mount Qingcheng is one of the best day trekking options surrounding Chengdu.

Qingcheng Mountain is a famous historical mountain and national key scenic spots, and in 2000 together with the Dujiangyan World Heritage listed as a World Heritage List.

Visit two world cultural heritage sites – Dujiangyan and Mount Qingcheng in one day. It is the oldest and only surviving no-dam water conservancy project in the world, and it has been functioning for more than two thousand years. Explore this magnificent irrigation system with your guide to learn the history and its crucial role. Afterwards, drive back to downtown to conclude the full day sightseeing.
