In Esztergom from Cathedral Hill you can enjoy the best view opening onto the river and to Slovakia. You may visit the Cathedral, the largest Roman Catholic church of Hungary. We cross the river and the border to Slovakia to have the stunning view from the opposite side.
We proceed to Visegrád, the heart of the Danube Bend, where we will treat you with 3-course lunch. Our restaurant overlooks the river bend and the famous castle that was once a seat of the Hungarian kings. We pass by Solomon Tower, once the prison of Count Dracula.
The tour continues to Szentendre. Explore the town of artists and arts, famous for its museums, bars, cafés and boutiques.

Historical tour of Hungary. Have a wonderful walk along the ”Blue Danube”. From Budapest we travel directly to the former Hungarian capital: Esztergom (headquarters of the Catholic Church and burial of the great Hungarian Cardinals, as Cardinal Mindszenty), where the largest Basilica in Hungary.
At the top of Castle Hill one sees a panoramic view to the Danube and opposite bank of the river you can see Slovakia. After traveling to Visegrád to visit the former royal residence (includes entrance), The Castle of Visegrád, where you can admire the breathtaking panoramic view of the Danube Bend.

Your first stop takes you to the Esztergom Basilica—one of the largest churches in the world. We cross the river and the border to Slovakia to have a stunning view from the opposite side.
