The Rainbow Mountain is located in Cusco in the Andes mountain range, exceeding a height of 5000 meters above sea level, but with our program you can take a guided tour in a single day full of spectacular views but in the easiest way. Compared to other tours, we are going for a different access. In the final part you will have many options to rent horses or motorcycles that will get you there without difficulty so you will enjoy your trip without fear of altitude sickness accompanied by our guides at all times.

We will be passing by your accommodation wherever you are staying, preferably within the historic center of the city of Cusco, the pick-up starts at approximately 4:00 am. Then we will head to the south of Cusco , to the town of Cusipata where we will have our first stop to have breakfast. Before reaching the town of Palccoyo we will make a stop to take some photos of the attraction of the colonial bridge and the Inca bridge. Arriving at the Palccoyo Mountain (4,900 masl), we will have free time to photograph and enjoy the place. We will also be able to observe part of Nevado Ausangate. We will return to the parking lot to return to Cusipata where we will have lunch and finally we will return to the city of Cusco (arrival approximately at 18:00 hrs), our mobility will leave you one block from the Plaza de Armas (Plaza Regocijo )

It is part of the Peruvian Andes and is located at 5,200 meters above sea level, in the district of Pitumarca. It is an arid hill that is characterized by its slopes and summits that are dyed by strips of intense fuchsia, turquoise, lavender and gold. Greenish tones indicate the presence of iron, magnesium, and copper oxide; yellows highlight sulfur; the whites are created thanks to quartz sand and limestone, and the reds are due to clay and argillites (mica and quartz rocks).

The Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain in the Peruvian Andes offers an alternative experience to the more well-known Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain. One of the standout features of Palccoyo is that it is less frequented by tourists, resulting in a more peaceful and unhurried atmosphere for visitors. This contrasts with the often crowded trails of Vinicunca.
