Khantoke Dinner and Cultural Show At Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center


The Khantoke Dinner and Cultural Show at the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center are based around the traditional Thai dinner and dancing show. For the Khantoke dinner guests sit on bamboo mats on the floor and are served a range of northern Thai food. While you sit and eat, a variety of Traditional Thai dances are shown on stage including sword dancing and a popular drum performance. Throughout the show, your food is topped up and there is also an option to order beer, soft drinks, or whiskey. You will discover the unique architecture of the Center, a polycultural complex, mainly dedicated to Kanak art. Then we will head towards the second stop located in the town of Mont Dore, the church at the Catholic mission of Conception, starting point of Christianity in New Caledonia with the statue of our lady at the top of its bell tower and the remarkable stained glass windows. Semenggoh Orangutan Center & Sarawak Cultural Village


Semenggoh Rehabilitation Center, a temporary home for displaced Orang Utans that have been rescued from captivity and young orphaned primates. These animals are re-trained to survive in their natural habitat. They learn how to forage for natural food and build nests in the trees. Many have been returned into the surrounding area. Take a walk on the trails and try to spot semi-wild Orang Utans. There are feeding times scheduled everyday at the feeding platfoam.      24KM from Kuching City marks the Sarawak Cultural Village, an award winning ‘living’ museum spreading over a 17 acre site at the foothills of Mount Santubong.
