In the first part of the cruise, we will see the monasteries of Mount Athos till Daphne's port (6 of 9 monasteries), while in the second part, we visit the unique inhabited island of Ammouliani. * During May and October, a stop is made in the island's central port of Ammouliani *During the summer months the stop is at the famous Alikes lagoon. (we stop at the port of the beach, you can go swimming or you can enjoy your lunch at the lagoon's restaurant)

Our cruise will start from Ouranoupolis, also known as The Gate to Mount Athos, as it is the last settlement before the border between the Monastic State and the rest of the world. During our journey you will observe 8 of 20 ancient monasteries of Mount Athos and will discover the history of this secluded place, accessed from the sea and allowed to men only, for more than 1000 years. Keep your camera on, as you might have a chance to take a picture of the dolphins swimming alongside the boat, or even a rare opportunity to see a Mediterranean Monk Seal, one of the rarest marine mammals in the world.

Meet your tour guide,at 7 am a trained 4WD specialist, and climb aboard a custom-built, four-wheel drive vehicle. Your guide is also a certified member of the Mount Batur Guide Association, You will first visit to explore Lava Ball Point. Hop out of the vehicle and feel the incredible Kintamani landscape surround you. You will find a large cave formed from a lava flow and you will wonder if you are on a different planet. The second stop is the volcanic lava flow of 1964. How did it happen? Your tour guide has the answer. As the guide navigates the four-wheel drive vehicle through the lava fields to get there, you will witness the local farmers working in their small fields and vegetable gardens. To complete your day, stop for lunch and a long soak in the healing waters of Batur Natural Hot Spring. Enjoy the photographic panorama of beautiful Lake Batur from a completely different angle.

Walk in lava fields and hike an old volcano! Join us on an adventurous hike close to Reykjavík to one of Iceland´s most well known mountains, Mt. Keilir. The mountain can easily be seen from airplane when flying to and from Keflavik airport. We head to Mt. Keilir and drive through the lava fields in the Reykjanes peninsula. The hike starts with a 45 min walk towards the mountain before ascending its steep slopes. The view from the top is absolutely amazing and you will of course sign the guestbook located at the top.
