Cruise Mekong

A full day tour to the Pak Ou Caves and Kuang Si Waterfalls. We depart Luang Prabang boat pier in the morning. Floating along the Mekong River, you will be in love with the beautiful landscape in Luang Prabang. Stop by a village "Ban Xang Hai" for tasting unique local rice whisky and rice wine. Afterward, exploring the mystery cave with local tour guide. Having buffet lunch at the restaurant overlooking the Mekong river. In the afternoon, we take a car to waterfalls and enjoy swimming in the cool water. At 5pm, we leave for the city. Stop by a Hmong village en route. We'll meet Hmong people wearing traditional cloths and see their small Hmong museum. Arrival at the city center or your hotel at 6:00. There is an option visiting waterfalls in the morning and Caves and Sunset Boat Cruise in the afternoon. This is the same experience except the morning and afternoon itineraries are swapped.

The cruise starts at 8:30am every morning from Tonle Sap to the Mekong and Chaktomuk rivers, where four major water courses meet. During the trip, you can enjoy the view along the riverside with fresh air and the unique lifestyle of people living on the water (floating houses). After having traveled by the cruise for 1 hour, you will arrive at Oknha Tei island. Then, you will continue your trip by Tuk Tuk to see the village school, Pagoda, Kromuon market and farming which people make by season. After that, you will continue to Silk Island, where you can learn how to grow silkworms to produce silk, how to take silk from the silkworm and the loom in the community of Silk Island. Mekong Village, rice paddies, dragon fruit farm exploration about 40km of flat riding followed by a boat adventure on a Mekong tributary. This is one of our “Bike Lover” rides specifically designed for people who haven’t been on a bicycle in a while but seek a challenge; will be tailored specifically to group needs.
