The cabin sits in an area with wide-open views, free from light pollution or any obstructions, offering a full panoramic view of the Northern Lights. Our cabin is located in Skyline, one of the best aurora viewing spots in Fairbanks, perched on a towering mountaintop far from the city lights. It faces a northern valley where the aurora frequently appears. Multiple outdoor viewing platforms provide ample space for guests to take photos, ensuring everyone enjoys a private, uninterrupted experience while marveling at the northern lights. Inside the cabin, the flames in the hearth dance joyfully, casting a warm glow on the wooden ceilings and walls, creating a cozy and serene atmosphere. With a cup of hot chocolate in hand, you can admire the graceful dance of the aurora through the large glass windows, feeling as though it’s within reach. Outside, the world is still and silent, with only the aurora sweeping across the sky. The cabin becomes a hidden sanctuary where you are at one with nature, experiencing the profound tranquility and awe of the moment.

We are local with plenty of Northern stories to share. Our tours are small and the cabin is warm and cozy. We offer a great light midnight lunch that includes hot bannock and local fish chowder. Coffee and several varieties of teas including northern teas. teas is included, you are invited to bring a beverage of your choice such as champagne to celebrate under the aurora. We have fun Northern clothing to dress up for photo ops. Small groups can book entire cabin for private use. Our scenic journey is located mainly on Whale island and passes through 3 fjords, majestic high mountains and brings us to small colorful fishing villages where we experience spectacular views of white sand beaches and open sea. We schedule numerous stops in the most scenic places where we take pictures. Around the noon will follow a longer 45 minutes break near beautiful, long white beach. There we offer you a rest in our grill cabin while surrounding cozy camp fire. We will enjoy our small refreshments, hot drinks and share with you exciting local stories and beliefs. During our journey through Whale Island, we may spot reindeer, moose, sea and white-tailed eagles and hope to see orcas and humpback whales (between November – January).
