The unparalleled Costa Vicentina does not allow us to describe it without understanding its true beauty, for that we have to witness it. This tour will start in the area of the village of Aljezur and will go to Cabo de S. Vicente in Sagres. It contains several stops to allow you to delight in this unique area.

Coasteering is an exciting adventure activity involving cliff jumping along the coastline near Lagos and Sagres. It's like Canyoning, but on the coast. Get your adrenaline fix with lots of Cliff Jumping between 1 – 10 meters (30ft.) high! You'll be Swimming in the ocean and really feel like you're connected to it. Swimming and walking through caves and secret passages where the water is clear with turquoise and emerald lights. Basic Climbing and scrambling is needed to access the jumps and remote places that only Coasteering can offer. We'll walk over the high cliff tops overlooking the Atlantic blue waters and stunning views. You'll also discover rock pools' abundant marine life. Lots of pictures and videos are included so you can enjoy the tour.

On this small group tour with a maximum of 16 guests, you'll head to the village of Aljezur, in the heart of Costa Vicentina Natural Park, and on to Carrapateira. Here, the views over the dunes are a sight to behold. Next, drive towards the Atlantic and hug the coastline, taking in views of tall schist cliffs and swathes of gold sand flanked by imposing rocks. Break for lunch in a seaside restaurant and savour a shellfish cataplana – the Algarve's signature dish. In the afternoon, head to Cape St Vincent – the most southwesterly point in Europe – where the cliffs rise 75 metres from the sea. Your adventure has one final stop at Sagres, a little fishing harbour with a big history. It was here where Prince Henry the Navigator planned his voyages of discovery, while today's visitors are more likely to be here for the excellent surf breaks at the wonderful beaches nearby, and the low-key attractions of this remote town.

This is a day of discovery and history! Our route follows lesser travelled paths, giving you a discerning view of Portugal’s past and present. We travel to the town of Silves. Here there is time to visit the impressive cathedral and to wander the narrow streets(entrance fees not included). From here we continue our ascent into the Monchique Mountain. We will visit the charming little spa village of Caldas de Monchique, with springs of proven medicinal properties. Following the winding road, we reach the highest point in the Algarve – Fóia – standing at 902m above sea-level. Downhill then from Fóia, crossing the countryside and stopping in the small village of Marmelete where you have time to enjoy lunch in one of the local restaurants (included). After lunch we go straight to Costa Vicentina, to visit some magnificent beaches . Then it’s on to the ‘end of the world’ – Cape St. Vincent. Passage through Sagres, a typical fishing village and its sheltered fishing port.
