Next, we'll visit the cork capital of the Algarve: São Brás de Alportel, where it all began: the extraction and processing of cork that provided work for many families and its export generated wealth for the area.
The first Portuguese bank was born here in the Casa Museu do Traje, and from here there will be time for lunch (not included in the tour). We'll then visit the cork factory.
