Porto Surf School offers surf lessons for people between 6 and 66 years and for all levels. Our surf instructors accommodate to your individual abilities and provide a learn safe healthy environment. Every day we start with our surf vans in the center of Porto to go with you to the beach. My name is Tuan, I'm a local surfer from Mui Ne (South of Vietnam). I've been surfing for over 15 years, and I started teaching surf lessons about 10 years ago, turning my hobby into my full-time job! Also, I've had the opportunity to surf in Bali, Sri Lanka, Spain, France and Portugal. I love teaching, but what I love the most is meeting amazing people from around the world! The surf lesson will take place at the best sunset spot of the area (Little Buddha beach). It's a left-hand point break, ideal for beginners and fun for those a bit more experienced.

The basic course is aimed at all those who have never tried before and at the same time for those who have already had a very short experience of a few days and want to improve the bases necessary to move to the next level. The requirements are: being in good general health, knowing how to swim and a minimum age of 6 years. The aim of the course is to surf the first foam waves independently and safely and to learn basic theoretical and practical knowledge such as positioning on the board, paddling, take-off, weather-marine knowledge, how to overcome the waves, how to spin on foams, weight management and more! Within this course, we follow small groups of up to 6 students for each instructor so that all students can be followed with the utmost care and in complete safety. The course lasts about 4 hours, including transport times, and the practical part in the water will be about 1.5 / 2 hours.

Surfing lessons are two hours long and all the necessary material is included (surfboard, boots, wetsuit, water shoes and insurance). We will be with you at all times, teaching you all we know about this amazing sport and giving you the confidence you need to enjoy your surfing experience without having to worry about anything else. No previous experience is required. Please note that the schedule may change, as our priority will be to choose the best conditions for an easy and safe practice.
