Hornblower Cruises is a local family run business since 1984. This tour is fantastic for those who would like to explore the two islands of the north in one day. Departure from Bugibba towards the island of Comino where you stop for 1.5 hours to snorkel, swim and take pictures of the crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon then cruise to the island of Gozo where you will stop for 3 hours. On Gozo you can take the mini bus/ coach tour for 5euro per person. Please let us know upon booking whether you would like to do the tour.

Itinerary: Departing from Sliema ferries, we cruise north, directly to the sister island Gozo. We stop at Mgarr Harbour (Gozo’s main harbour) where you will board one of our buses that will take you to Xlendi Bay, and then Victoria to see the Citadel (Old Fortified City). In the afternoon, once again you will board the Luzzu Cruises Vessel and proceed to the island of Comino, where we will stop in the crystal clear waters of the famous Blue Lagoon for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling etc… After our stop at the Blue Lagoon, we visit the Comino caves and cruise back to Sliema. Departures: Winter schedule: departure from Sliema ferry, ferries 4 at 10am and returns at 5pm Summer schedule: departure from Sliema ferry, ferries 4: – First departure at 10am and returns at 5.30pm Second departure at 10.30am and returns at 5.30pm IMPORTANT: To get off the boat at Comino Blue Lagoon, please register to obtain free pass QR Code and choose afternoon slot 13.31 – 17.30. We welcome you on Hornblower Cruises a local family run business since 1984. We are not the most modern boat but we have everything you need on-board to make your day with us unforgettable. We have designed our tours and the boat to offer you all what you need for the day – an upper sun deck, deck chairs, slide, shaded area, air conditioned bar/ restaurant, lockers facilities and more. If you are a sun lover then hop up to the upper sun-deck and soak in the sun (free deck-chairs) or if you prefer the shade, take a seat on our spacious shaded main deck. Once in the Blue Lagoon take advantage from our mooring position, away from the crowded beach – Swim, snorkel, sunbathe and slide into the turquoise water of the Blue Lagoon. The cruise also shows you the beauty of Comino island cruising close to the cliffs and into the caves and beaches of the island.

Hop aboard a spacious & comfortable boat at the meeting point in Mellieha. Go past the Comino Tower which was made famous for in the movie "The count of Monte Cristo." Take in how the golden shoreline contrasts with the azure waters as you make your way to the Crystal Lagoon situated on the western side of Comino. See for yourself why this lagoon is known for its incredibly clear and vibrant turquoise waters with a 45-minute stop to swim, snorkel with the included gear, and sunbathe. Next, head to the iconic Blue Lagoon where the sunlight penetrates to the shallow, sandy seabed, creating dazzling shades of blue. Spend an hour plus of free time swimming through the waters, looking at fish with the snorkeling gear, or basking in the sun on the shore. Pass by the island of Gozo & visit an area know as the promising rock (Gebla tal Halfa) for approximately 45 minutes. Finally, end your experience with a photo shop at the Santa Maria Caves and Elephant Rock before returning to the port.

The Fernandes Turkish gulet schooner cruise from Malta is a perfect way to enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean sea, visiting Malta's sister islands including a secluded bay in Gozo and Comino's Blue Lagoon. With a daily departure between spring and autumn from Sliema in Malta, you will able to admire the panoramic cliffs, coves and inlets of the northeast coast of Malta as you cruise towards the islands of Comino and Gozo. A morning snack is served. We drop anchor in a secluded bay in Gozo and then at the magical crystal clear waters of the beautiful Blue Lagoon in Comino. You will have approximately 90 minutes at each stop to swim, sunbathe or relax on board or on land. A hot and cold buffet lunch is freshly prepared, cooked and served on board. An open bar is also served including unlimited beer, wine, water and soft drinks. An afternoon snack is served on your return to Malta.
