Our next stop is “Cenote Cocalitos”, home of stromatolites, that are known as living stones and are considered the oldest form of life in the planet. After boarding the transport unit we will have the opportunity to discover the local culture and economy of the town Pedro Antonio De los Santos that is on the road passing to our magical destination (BACALAR). In Bacalar you will visit Fort San Felipe, built between 1725 and 1733 to protect against attacks by pirates who sought raw materials such as wood and natural dyes to dye textiles. Then we will arrive at our private club with bunk beds, kayaks, wifi and access to the lagoon where we will also enjoy some rich Mexican tacos before or after boarding the boat that will lead us to discover three cenotes (Black, Emerald, Cocalitos) bird island, (home of migratory birds), the stromatolite reef, one of the most important in Latin America.
