If sipping Champagne while cruising down The River Seine is your idea of heaven, this champagne tasting cruise will be a highlight of your trip to Paris! The Champagne will be flowing as you cruise down the River Seine past some of Paris' most famous monuments. Combining a sightseeing cruise and Champagne tasting, you'll enjoy a champagne presentation by an expert sommelier, held in a private area at the front of the boat while you cruise along the Seine. It's important to ARRIVE BEFORE THE DEPARTURE of the boat because the boat won't be able to delay the departure time that is 6:30 PM. We advise you to arrive between 6:00pm and 6:15pm maximum. Departure from Epernay Tourist Office. Drive towards Champagne Vollereaux for a guided tour and tasting of 3 champagnes. Then after, we will drive towards Champagne Voirin Jumel in Cramant, Grand Cru Village, to enjoy another tasting of 3 champagnes, in the heart of the vineyard, with breathtaking views. Photo stop at the Cramant Belvedere to appreciate the landscapes. Then, we head towards the Jardin des Vignes in Chouilly to understand the world of the vine. Back to Epernay for a short walk on Avenue de Champagne, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where some of the most prestigious champagne houses are located. After a half-day full of experiences and memories, your guide will drop you off in front of the Epernay tourist office.

During the champagne tasting you will become acquainted with special champagnes from mostly small champagne houses. Delicious and honest campaigns made by winemakers with a passion for their profession. Mr. Champagne shows that there are so many more champagnes than the big brands that can be bought at the liquor store. During the tasting, attention is given to the production process of the champagne, the region and the history of the champagne.

In one day, all the secrets of Champagne : Reims cathedral visit, a cellar visit (commented in English only), Champagne tasting. You will visit Reims Cathedral, the city's most beautiful monument. You could after discover mystical and old champagne cellars. A professional guide in the cellars will give you explanations of Champagne harvesting, processing and bottling. After the visit, you will, of course, taste some Champagne. In the afternoon, you will visit the Lighthouse of Verzenay. The top of this original tower, and its belvedere, offers a wonderful overview of vineyards below. Please note that this visit will be replaced by a visit to Epernay from November 27 to December 26, 2024. On the way back to Paris, you will discover the charming village of Hautvillers. This picturesque village is famous for being the place where Dom Pérignon discovered the Champagne method.
